Sesame seed dehulling consists in removing the sesame hull, improving several characteristics and benefits of the seeds. The sesame hull contains a large amount of oxalic acid as well the indigestibly fiber. By removing this hull, the seeds are left with a better flavor, and they can be more easily digested.
